Message From The State Coordinator

Hi, I’m Kathleen Reed the State Coordinator for the Virginia Cooperative Extension Master Gardener Program. We are so excited to invite you to join us in Virginia for IMGC 2021.

Our slogan is “cultivate our legacy,” and we have planned a mixture of speakers, workshops, and tours designed to put on display the powerful impact Extension Master Gardeners can have as we work together to engage our communities in building a greener gardening future.

Kelly Norris

Kelly D. Norris is an award-winning author and plantsman from Iowa and the director of horticulture and education at the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden, a revitalized public garden in Des Moines, Iowa. Throughout his career, his work has been featured in The New York Times, Organic Gardening, Better Homes and Gardens, Martha Stewart Living, Garden Design and in numerous local and regional media appearances.
